Le houblon est une plante aromatique qui sert à aseptiser, amériser et aromatiser la bière.
Il existe une multitude de variétés de houblon.
Les houblons sont regroupés en trois grandes classes : les houblons amérisant, les houblons aromatiques et les houblons mixtes
